December 2007 We hope to see you this week in the shop taking advantage of our huge sales. This is an opportunity for Ron and I to say Thank You for your support and to say goodbye. Ron and I decided to sell the wine shop so we could focus on our family time rather than spread ourselves thin with a growing business. This is a great decision for us and it's been an even greater experience. Thank you for your support and encouragement. We couldn't have done it without you. The sale of the shop happened very quickly and very smoothly. By next week you'll be meeting Jack, the new owner and our new friend. So, come by next week to say hello to Jack. He's a great guy and we're absolutely sure you'll like him and love what he's doing with the shop.

About UsVesta Wine Cellars is owned and operated by Jennifer Tastet and Ron Carlile along with acquired help from their family and friends. This cozy shop is located in the northern part of Seattle between the neighborhoods of Maple Leaf and Ravenna. We are both Washington natives growing up with a simple appreciation for the flavor of wine. As adults we share an appreciation for the winemakers who display their art in crafting wine and enjoy wine and fellowship with family and friends. With a love for reading, traveling, and learning ~ wine is the perfect avenue to grow our knowledge and spend a lifetime learning about wine and the people who make it around the world. We aptly named our wine shop Vesta Wine Cellars simply because wine is more than a drink, it is a significant part of any meal, and a center for gathering around, such as the hearth or modern day kitchen in your home. To us wine is like the hearth, a significant symbol of warmth and comfort that seems to be part of all social events, celebrations, and important moments in our lives. Wine is a gift, an art, a hobby, and a reason to gather to share special moments.
